American Idol Dance
On February 28, the Student Council held their "American
Idol Dance". Normal dances get boring, so the Council came up with a
contest theme. This one was based on the popular "reality" show on
Fox. Students competed individually or in groups for the "American
Idol" title. We had our own versions of the three judges: Simon (Mr. Dick),
Paula (Miss Weidner), and Randy (Mr. Sawyer). The final voting was left up to
the audience.
The top the acts were:
3rd place: Jordan Young
2nd place: Joe Burton & Kyle Cohenour
1st Place: Amy Croatt, Aimee Large, Jackie Obbink, and
Stephanie Obbink
It was a great contest and a super dance! Thanks and
congratulations to all who performed!!
